Yearly charges may be paid in one payment or 10 monthly payments. Monthly charges or one time fees must be paid the first of the month. Payments may be made by cash, debit card, check or money order. We do not send monthly statements; therefore, it is the payee’s responsibility to pay the student’s tuition on or before the first of the month.
Pre-Paid Tuition Discount: Families who pre-pay the annual tuition fee by August 1st receives a $100.00 discount. (May not include VPK or HEROES students.) Second Child Discount: Total tuition for a family is based on the number of children in the family enrolled at PBA as FULL TIME STUDENTS. A discount of 10% from the tuition cost of the second child, and every child thereafter, is available. (May not include VPK or HEROES students.)
All monthly charges are due promptly on the 1st of each month. If unpaid by the 5th of that month, a $10.00 late fee will be charged. An additional $15.00 will be assessed if not paid by the 10th of that month. Failure to pay by the 15th of the month may result in the student being dismissed from PBA. A $10.00 service charge will be assessed for each returned check. Final report cards will not be issued to any student whose account is not paid current. This includes tuition, lunch charges, payment for lost books, outstanding fund raising monies, etc.
The registration, supply, and book fees are non-refundable should the student cancel or withdraw. (Exception: PBA will refund the registration if there are not enough students to form an anticipated class or the student is on a waiting list.) If a student withdraws by the 15th of the month, one-half month’s tuition will be refunded. There will be no refund on withdrawals after the 15th. It is helpful if parents give the school a two week notice when withdrawing a student. There are no refunds due to absences, holidays, or emergency situations.
Any books that are lost, stolen, or damaged beyond usability is the responsibility of the student to purchase another textbook in a timely manner. A textbook is considered lost if it is missing for more than three consecutive class days.
Withdrawals from the academy must be made through the school office. We prefer a written notice of withdrawal so that we may institute the withdrawal procedures. No grades or records will be released on the same day a student withdraws. No records are transferred where there is still an outstanding balance on the student’s account. |
