2011-2012 Eligibility Requirements for Florida High School Students (PDF)

www.floridastudentfinancialaid.org : Home of the Florida Department of Education Office of Student Financial Assistance.  Seniors must complete the Florida Financial Aid Application in order to participate in any Florida Scholarships including Bright Futures.  Click on "State, Grants, Scholarships and Applications."  Next click on "Apply Here".  Complete the application.

NEW for 2011-2012  www.fafsa.ed.gov  : Home of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid.  Seniors must complete this application before May 15th of their senior year to be eligible for Bright Futures. Must have parent's tax information from previous year when completing this application.

www.FederalStudentAid.ed.gov : Access the FAFSA4caster which is an online tool to help students and families prepare financially for college before officially applying for federal student aid.  It provides an estimate of federal student aid eligibility.
